The center is the only breast center in the area to offer 3D mammogram imaging to all women.Dr. Arlene Weinshelbaum founded the Gainesville Women’s Center for Radiology in 1982. Since then, the office has served more than 71,000 women in North Central Florida. The Gainesville Women’s Center for Radiology was the first mammography office in Gainesville and remains one of the few offices to provide all patients with complete 3D mammography.The services offered include digital 3D mammography, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and bone densitometry.
