His distinguished medical career began when he graduated with his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan. Dr. Garcia-Gregory finished his internal medicine internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1975 and 1976, respectively, after graduating from medical school.
